MY MORNING CUP OF COFFEE: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

THE ART OF WAITING; Does it seem that everything you have asked God for is on hold, or being released slowly. In fact, so slow that you are almost ready to throw in the towel. This morning I had an epiphany. Waiting is an art. It’s not a challenge. We have been going about this whole thing wrong. When we are told to wait on the Lord, our first thought is, this could be a long time. How often have we heard the old folks say; "He may not come when you want Him but he’s right on time", making us to believe that most often he shows up at the last minute. Let me simply say this, God is not a God that He should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? In other words, it’s up to us to move into a place of peace while waiting. To consider the ant that stores up in anticipation of what’s to come. Waiting sometimes causes us to slow down and complain or to sit because the wait just seems so long. Imagine if we store up in the wait. Imagine if you do all that’s in your hands to do while you wait. First off, you give God room to give you more. Secondly, you are occupying until He comes. After all, He is a God of abundance. Wait I say on the Lord and again I say wait! #RealWomenRealTalk2015 Be There -
