MY MORNING CUP OF COFFEE: “Write the vision and make it plan upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2

If only you can see it, what good is a vision if only you can see it? One idea that comes to mind as I ponder the question, "Am I the only one that sees this?" There are many great books available on leadership, adapting to change and evening keeping an idea fresh when you yourself are the leader. One of my favorite is "Fish Sticks" by Stephen C. Lundin, Ph.D., John Christensen and Harry Paul bestselling authors of FISH and FISH TALES. The authors suggest that, "to implement a new vision, you must first have everyone's attention. But external energy is only effective for the short-term". As I mull over this, I am reminded of the scripture that says, "Write the vision and make it plain upon tables". Obviously, not tables that you eat on, but at that time they wrote on tablets/stone. The operative word here is "write". Have you considered that it's time to write it? Trust me; it's not always easy to put your thoughts and ideas to pen. Yet, there is something prolific about putting a thought that only you and God knows on paper and watching others grab and run with it. Don't be discouraged when other can't see your vision. Perhaps it's time to write it down. A visual is worth a thousand words. CAN YOU SEE IT NOW?
